President's Message Week 3 of 52

The Pacifics’ Game was so totally fun I am joining the Rafael Evening and Terra Linda Club on August 5th for another round…please join us if you had fun too! This time, since our Tuesday night Spanish class is in recess, my hubby Jim may come too. Even if I never really knew what the count is, what the inning in, or even whether our team was in white or grey white, I totally loved the atmosphere and shouting for Albert in musical chairs. (Yes, I know the scoreboard gives details; I just am never sure how to read it and really just like the feeling more than the game. I’m a soccer nut.) Karen’s advice was to have more social events; that also seems to be the goal of membership chair Theresa and Public Image chair Millie, not to mention President-Elect Bev. So maybe we should try for Sports 101 Paddle boarding this coming month? And in September, let’s plan on the musical suggested by Jim. Meanwhile, the DG Board visit is coming up at my house on August 18th at 5:15 (I serve buffet-style) so let me know if you want to come, too! All are, of course, invited to hear what your DG is planning and what your Board is planning too!
