SRE Members Supporting Opening the World

Alana Capozzi, Jeannine Curley and Michael Johnston will be presenting. All are from the San Rafael Evening Rotary (SRE). Alana and Jeannine co-chair the SRE's International Service Committee (ISE) and Michael is another SRE member. The SRE's ISE created Global Responders, aka G.R.E.A.T. Their priority is to insure that all service projects they support are in alignment with The Four-Way Test and the Rotary areas of focus.

G.R.E.A.T. is a service-based club project that invites other Rotary clubs, groups and individuals in public and private sectors around the globe to partner with them in making the world a better place. G.R.E.A.T.'s ultimate goal is to make a sustainable impact throughout the world based on the expressed needs of the communities they serve.

Their presentation will focus on their partnerships with Athens North Rotary, Athens Rotaract, Safeplace International and Opening the World. This presentation will also provide information about their current international service project, which serves triple-marginalized refugees (LGBTQI+ community, people of color, and single mothers who are rape survivors) in Greece.
