A Day in the Life of a CHP Officer

Andrew Barclay will provide an overview of the activities of the California Highway Patrol and its officers.

He has been an officer with the CHP for eleven years, all in Marin. He is now in charge of all community outreach and media relations. He has worked every shift the CHP runs. He is a trained crisis coordinator and regularly works at the Golden Gate Bridge with the goal of preventing people from harming themselves. He has been recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving three times as a leader in DUI arrests.
