Marin County Civil Grand Jury Association

The presentation will address the role of the jury in the governance of Marin County.  Dr Bauer will also convey the importance of the jury's investigations to the citizens.  He will will address the ways citizens can participate and the unique experiences that accrue during the service period.

Lawrence Bauer is President of the Marin County Civil Grand Jury Association.  He was born, raised, and pursued his career on Long Island, New York.  His career involved a succession of jobs leading to positions of Director of Quality Assurance in two significant aerospace companies. He was active in his field leading a large local chapter of the American Society for Quality, an organization in which he achieved the rank of Fellow. In addition, he served 9 years as a Trustee on the Wilson College Board.  After moving to California 13 years ago, he became active in civic life, served on the 2014-2015 Civil Grand Jury and remains active in the Association.
